Digital Positioners

The MASCOT YT-3400 high performance digital positioner accurately controls valve stroke according to an input signal of 4-20mA, which is an input from the controller. In addition, a built-in micro-processing operator optimises the positioner’s performance and provides unique functions such as auto calibration, PID control and alarm.

The valve stroke and various useful information are available via HART communication protocol so as to allow the user to identify the status of the valve and positioner. This information can also be accessed at the valve by means of the LCD panel display on the positioner.

The auto calibrate function ensures that calibration is a simple procedure. Zero and span are set automatically by the positioner itself due to the designs ability to measure internal parameter values and perform the most dynamic characteristics in any valve / actuator configuration or condition.
